ORTHODONTICS "Surgical Cases" without Surgery/

There are some conditions that are not only teeth related, but result from defects in the jaw bone structure, which often are considered surgical cases (especially in adults).

Surgical cases are considered, for example, for cases of individuals from large jaw (mandibular prognathism), or small chin (retrognathia) with gummy smile (where the person shows too much teeth and gums, both at rest and on smiling) individuals with open bite (can not stand still with the mouth closed), crossbites in adults and facial asymmetry (one side appearing bent or deflected to one side).

In Oralklass dental clinics, we are proud to be able to resolve about 95% of surgical cases without resorting to orthognathic surgery. For situations in which there is no alternative we have also a maxillofacial surgery service.
