ORTHODONTICS

This is the branch of dentistry responsible for treating malocclusion — that is, the incorrect alignment of teeth and the lack of dental or facial harmony.

In certain cases, it is possible to correct chewing, speech problems, or even breathing difficulties.

There are also situations where malocclusion is not only of dental origin but results from defects in the maxillary bone structure. These cases are often considered surgical, especially in adults. At Oralklass Dental Clinics, we are proud to solve around 95% of these surgical cases without the need for orthognathic surgery.

At Oralklass Dental Clinics, we also provide the modern and discreet solution to straighten your teeth: Invisible Aligners.

Comfortable, transparent, and almost imperceptible, they allow you to align your smile effectively without interfering with your daily life.

CLOSER TO YOU

We have 4 dental clinics at your disposal in Porto, Valongo, Gondomar and Maia.

Fixed Appliance

This type of appliance is fixed to the teeth using an adhesive paste or dental cement.
The appliance is made up of brackets (metal, plastic or ceramic), tubes and rings, which support the metal arch that facilitates tooth movement.
There are several types of fixed braces, differing in material and method of placement.
Fixed ceramic braces are almost unnoticeable because the brackets blend in with the colour of the teeth.

Transparent Aligners

Transparent braces, or Invisalign®, are the latest and most innovative form of dental correction. They are made using transparent moulds that fit over the teeth, applying the necessary pressure to achieve the desired effect.

Removable Braces

This appliance is moulded to fit the patient’s mouth and can be removed by the patient.
In this case, the patient’s help and awareness of the treatment is fundamental.
These types of braces are indicated for small tooth movements.
Nowadays there are removable braces that are almost invisible, making them the best choice for those who don’t want to wear braces for aesthetic reasons.

More than 20 years at the service of excellence.
